pleasant effect of these illustrations.
Next in order of feminine appeal I
would place the two hosiery advertise
ments on page 44. Even the explanation
of the branding of the stockings is
interesting (this could so easily have been
dull) and makes me want to memorise the
numbers for shopping days.
The remaining advertisements all have
considerable interest, that on page 46
