EXHIBITION MUSIC ROOM, decorated, furnished and painted by Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell. There were six of the flower panels, three by Vanessa Bell and three by Duncan Grant, size 7 ft. by 5 ft., with encased mirrors above The carpet by Duncan Grant is an expanse of flowers and leaves in grey, brown and blue. The piano by Duncan Grant, in blue, yellow, green, mad der, oyster white and battleship grey, repeats the motives of the leaves and seasons. The allegorical screen is by Vanessa Bell. The curtains are of grey and canary yellow, by Vanessa Bell. The room combines the grace and riotous sense of colour for which these artists are famous, with romantic splendour.
